Susan Campbell

My name is Susan. I’m 68, and I’ve lived a hard life. I never knew how to communicate with people. When I started NVC 6 months ago, my life changed — and kept changing. I’ve learning how to talk and listen in a way that connects me to people.

I can’t thank NVC, Sandra, and Brent enough. They’ve helped me more than they know. I want to see NVC taught in all schools and all job‑training programs. Being able to talk to people — and really listen — is a godsend.

I know I’ll keep taking this class as long as I can. It’s wonderful to have empathy for others and for myself, and learning how to communicate that empathy has helped me live a more peaceful life.
